The glistening beauty of the winter here always manages to enchant visitors – whether on the ski slopes, whizzing down a forest path on a toboggan or simply enjoying a tranquil walk through the snow-covered countryside. While you enjoy a warming cup of tea by the flickering light of the open fire, the snowflakes outside seem to dance in time to the piano music. The Hotel Scesaplana is only 5 minutes walk from the lift station (free ski bus stops right in front of the hotel). Wolfgang Huber (former German National Team serviceman) ensures ideal equipment for perfect pleasure on the pistes with his “Super Ski Service” here at the hotel. After an enjoyable but tiring day on the slopes there’s no better way to unwind than in the hotel’s spa area, rounding off a fantastic day with a drink at the hotel’s cosy Fireplace Bar.

 

Brand also offers a whole host of leisure activities in the summer both gentle and more intensive. As you play a game of tennis or a round of golf you are surrounded by the fantastic Alpine Panorama and spectacular views of the 3,000 m peaks. Well-marked mountain-bike tours will lead you through Brand and the surrounding area. New mountain-bikes are available at the hotel and guided biking tours are also offered. Hiking is a real delight here with 400 km of hiking trails and climbing routes to choose from. Fishing is also a popular pastime, giving you the chance to relax and enjoy the stunning view across the Lünersee Lake, the highest natural lake in the Alps.
