YOUTH TENNIS CAMPS IN SWITZERLAND

Youngsters take note: a great tennis camp with a lot of fun and mental training!
Tennis should be fun. But it is also important to know how to win. The European Tennis Academy camps combine both these aspects of the game, offering an interesting and varied programme with particular emphasis on mental training.
Because the level of junior training is so high, in the tennis camps for teenagers our aim is to work on and improve the player’s concentration rather than technique. As is generally known the hardest opponent to overcome isn’t on the other side of the net but inside your own head.
Mentally strong, just like the professionals
Here at the Toggenburger Camps we call the opponent within “Charly” and he has a hundred reasons why things just aren’t going right today. The youths learn how to keep Charly occupied with specific concentration skills, to consciously evoke positive experiences, to approach the ball with clearly defined determination and to make the best of the intervals. In order to be able to activate the relaxed concentration at any time a special method of training “Fit for Success – Tennis to Music” is used.
Official Tournaments and Great Friends
The social programme of events ensures that fun is had and new friendships develop. From mini-golf and obstacle races to a pizza evening and farewell disco, there’s always something going on. By playing the official licence games you can not only put your newly learned skills to the test but also improve your ranking!
The Tennis Camps for Juniors are registered with the Swiss Tennis Association and each junior player has the chance to improve his or her ranking in 3 – 4 licenced games. On Fridays a closing doubles tournament is organised.
Here are the new dates to help you plan your tennis carrier:
